Assemblies should be instructive, as well as informative in nature to ensure that those present receive as much experience, strength, and hope as possible to share with those fellow sufferers at the District and Group level. Assemblies should not be used to discuss non-essential matters which have no bearing on the program of A.A. or the suffering alcoholic.
