Local Meetings

Meetings play a crucial role in recovery by providing a supportive space to share experiences, gain insights, and connect with others. They offer accountability, reinforce the principles of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), and remind you that you are not alone on your journey to sobriety.

An open meeting of AA is accessible to anyone in the community, regardless of whether they are alcoholic or nonalcoholic. In contrast, a closed meeting is exclusively for AA members or for those who have a drinking problem and a desire to stop drinking. There are also many specialty meetings available; however, we recommend attending an “open” meeting for your first experience.

More about AA

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who come together to solve their drinking problem.  It doesn’t cost anything to attend A.A. meetings. There are no age or education requirements to participate. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem. A.A.’s primary purpose is to help alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

AA.org is the official Alcoholics Anonymous website, providing meeting directories, literature, and resources for newcomers and members to support their recovery journey.

Pamphlets

Pamphlets are an easy way to learn about AA, covering topics like the Twelve Steps and how meetings work. They’re perfect for newcomers and members seeking insights into AA’s principles.
